School Policies

Students at Lincoln High School are expected to abide by a strict code of conduct as contained in the School Policy and the Bonneville School District Student Code of Conduct. The rules apply to all classroom and school activities. Disregard of any of the rules or procedures will result in a disciplinary referral to the administration. Violation of any policy may result in dismissal from Lincoln High School for either a specific period of time or for the remainder of the school year.

Lincoln High School Referral System

Students will be immediately dropped from the block upon receiving a 3rd referral. Students maybe dropped from the block upon receiving any referral dependent upon the nature of the disciplinary referral.

Listed below are several of the school policies at Lincoln.To see the full version of the policy click on the link shown above.

Attendance is critical. If a student is going to be absent the school must be notified by 8:00 am on the day of the absence. If a second absence occurs in a block for any reason the student will be dropped from the block.

Tardies. A student who is tardy for any reason will be given a referral. If a student is more than 30 minutes late it will be considered an absence.

Cell phone use. Cell phones are not to be used in any classroom, in the gym, during class time and breakfast break. Texting during class will result in an automatic drop.

No illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, alcohol, energy drinks, pornographic materials or other unacceptable materials are allowed on campus.

Clothing must meet acceptable standards as outlined in the school policy and the Student Code of Conduct.

Driving to school is a privilege not a right.Failure to following the policy outlined for the parking lot may result in the student losing the privilege of driving to school.

Tobacoo Products.Students may not have any tobacco products on campus. By the State Department of Education regulation, no one is allowed to use any tobacco product on school property. (Board Policy 3300) Possession by a minor is illegal and will be referred to legal authorities.

Visitors.Parents/guardians visiting the school must check in at the office. Visitors other than parents/guardians are not allowed on school property. Violators may be arrested for trespassing.
